Nordea's business is growing and we are searching for a Business Project Manager!

When you take on a role as Business Project Manager in the new and growing unit Group Functions Information & Reporting (GFIR), you get an excellent opportunity to be involved from the very start and form a strong team. You will have clear objectives to deliver outstanding value for Nordea in accordance with the new operating model by producing group level authority and management reporting .

GFIR is the receiving unit for the information and reporting related parts of the simplification outcome delivered by the Group Functions Simplification Programme, and we act as the link between Business and IT. Our mission is to develop and maintain common information and reporting through unified processes, organization and platform.

The position we offer
As a Business Project Manager you will secure alignment between information and solutions to the business capabilities needed to execute Nordea strategy.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  developing project plans, contributing to business decision making, driving development of simplified business processes and guiding the projects in the implementation phase. You will also act as a mentor and instruct others on architecture standards and best practices. You will actively co-operate with your colleagues who are located in the Nordic countries and the because of that the role requires some travelling in the Nordics. You will report to GFIR Business Development-team leader and you will be located in Stockholm or Helsinki.

The qualifications you need
You are an analytical person with high motivation, result orientation and drive to deliver high quality on time. You possess business acumen and solid project -/change management skills. You need to be a strong leader proficient at managing stakeholders and colleagues. We expect that you have worked as a project manager / product owner for at least 5 years.

  • Academic degree in finance or engineering
  • Proven track record of successful project deliveries
  • Solid experience with Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Data Management
  • Business Knowledge within Banking
  • Understanding of the architecture discipline, processes, concepts and best practices
  • Ability to stay up to date with technology trends, best practices, strategies and product roadmaps
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
