Digitalisation is transforming the transport sector. More and more of Scania’s customer offer is based in some way on connected vehicles. Scania IT provides global products and services to all the business areas within Scania.

The IKCE group within Scania IT is responsible for the delivery of the proprietary application Ramas, which supports Scania’s aftermarket activities. The application is used for administration of repair and maintenance contracts for vehicles, including management of financial flows to and from the dealers’ business systems. Ramas is currently implemented in 34 countries and is continuously being rolled out to new markets.

The group consists of 26 members of staff, divided into cross-functional delivery teams. We work in an agile way in close cooperation with operations. The teams deliver solutions and support within their respective areas of responsibility, but also work together to maintain cohesion and constantly improve the group’s deliveries. Together, the teams cover the application’s entire life cycle: new development and implementation projects and ongoing continued development and management.

Scania’s investment in new service products means more dynamic functionality and many new integrations with other systems. This places stringent demands on the ability of an architect to analyse the consequences of new requirements and transform them into appropriate proposals for solutions.

  • You will work very closely with the development team on the solution design, while also providing leadership and support for implementation and architecture issues

You have advanced in your profession and have a number of years’ experience of requirements gathering and development. You are a good communicator who finds it easy to get your opinion across and adapt your message to the recipient.
We have ongoing cooperation with globally dispersed operations, which means many different contacts and forms of cooperation. You therefore need to enjoy cooperating with others and have strong social skills.
