The Prospecting & Quotation section within Sales IT is responsible for service development and IT deliveries for Commercial Operations at Scania. We are involved in the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and production. Scania IT is also currently undergoing a very exciting change towards an increasingly operational- and flow-oriented approach in which Agile methods and fixed high-performance development teams are key components. Now is the perfect time to join this exciting journey. We are now looking for additional members for our development teams. We are looking for people with a significant interest in software development and Agile methods. You will play a central role in one of our development teams and will have many contacts around the Scania organisation. We can offer work close to operations with technical variation at a company with a very good working environment.
Your duties
We currently have 5 individual cross-functional Agile teams. Although the teams were only recently put together, the members have many years’ experience of Agile methods. You, in close cooperation with another Scrum Master, will be responsible for facilitating the team meetings and coaching members on their road to becoming a high-performance team. You will also be responsible for protecting the team from external distractions and will serve as a conduit to the outside world, when required. The position is full time, with a complete focus on the Scrum Master role.

We have recently started putting together Agile teams in both Latin America and Asia, which is why experience of global distributed Scrum Teams would be an advantage for this position.
Your profile

We are looking for someone who has:
  • Experience and knowledge of Agile software development
  • A genuine interest in and preferably a few years’ experience of Agile methods
  • Self-motivation and the ability to lead others
  • The commitment and motivation to work with others to develop, deliver, simplify and improve
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Swedish
  • A university education within IT or equivalent experience
You are happy working in a team, but are also capable of working independently when required. You will be organised, intuitive, bold about making your own decisions and have a strong service-minded approach. You are an accomplished communicator with good social skills. You will probably have a background as a Scrum Master and/or developer in previous development projects.
In addition to career and development opportunities, we can also offer Scania employees other benefits, such as a company car, performance bonuses, a pension, flexible working hours, lunch at reduced prices and much more. If you live in Stockholm, we offer a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje, the Scania Jobexpress.
