User Experience Specialist for the IKEA Planning experience programme (IPEX)

The goal of IPEX is to support and empower customers to find their personal best home furnishing solutions. We will create great planning experiences through providing activities and tools harmonized across channels to give the customer reassurance and confidence, enabling them to proceed in their buying journey and make decisions, independent of the channel or platform being used.
Our customers should experience an inspiring, fun, simple and rewarding planning journey based on their needs and preferences. Our co-workers and service partners should experience a fun, efficient and unbroken sales process.
The planning experience will be an integral part of the entire seamless buying and selling experience and a key contributor to converting visitors into happy customers and to engaging with our customers from the start. Utilizing data around and about our products to create more personalized experiences is an integral part of the work we do.
The assignment as User Experience Specialist
As a User experience Specialist in the IKEA Planning experience programme you will be leading end to end user experience practices and process across different initiatives and projects. This will give you an opportunity to ensure that the planning experiences we create are relevant for consumers and beneficial for our business, that they are delightful to use by our customers and co-workers across different channels, that they are inviting and surprising and that all our planning tools are implementable and operable in our global scale. You will actively use and conduct research, small and big, and use it in your daily work. You will guide our design teams, prototypers and implementation partners to achieve the great IKEA planning experience in everything we do.
To be successful in this role
To succeed in this role you need to have strong interest in home furnishing and people's everyday life at home, experience and a good understanding of customer and co-worker needs in the buying and selling process.
You ideally have experience in design and service design thinking, have concrete work examples on how you practice what you preach and are up to date on broad impact of today's UX approach across touchpoints, digital and physical and have a strong point of view where this field is going. You are actively working across disciplines and see yourself as a glue between different functions to bring everyone together towards common goal. Delightful experience with IKEA. Every time.
You enjoy an agile and iterative, yet structured way of working and achieving results together with a team in a flexible environment, but also have a strong individual drive to deliver high quality results on time. You have good communication and networking skills and are fluent in written and spoken English.
Travelling based on business needs will be necessary.
