Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a heavy truck manufacturer to a provider of sustainable transport solutions. IT is a vital enabler on this change journey. Scania IT has therefore initiated a significant transformation towards data-driven software development, cloud computing and an agile way of working.

Your duties
You will be the head of Sales IT, a department within Scania IT. Sales IT is responsible for solutions and services within pre-sales, CRM and quotation as well as all external websites and development within the connected services area. All of these services and applications are changing rapidly because of Scanias new truck generation and our journey toward being a sustainable solution provider.
 
Sales IT currently consists of 145 people organized in 11 teams in Södertälje and one team in São Paulo.
 
Your duties are:
  • Continue developing the sales area toward an agile way of working together with our business functions.
  • Modernize the application landscape using the best technical solutions
  • Create the best possible user experience for the global Scania salesforce and our customers on our external websites
  • Get global reach in our deliveries by developing our organization in São Paulo and Asia
  • Coach, develop and inspire Sales IT staff to develop innovative and cost efficient solutions and services that maximize business value
 
You will be a member of the Scania IT leadership team and will be expected to actively contribute to creating a close-knit team. Your energy will be an important and valued addition as we continue our change journey. 
 
Your profile
We are looking for a business-oriented person with good knowledge of the commercial sales process and IT. You are an experienced leader with elevated communication skills and you have a strong engagement in our core values and the Scania leadership principles. You are a strong team player with integrity and are good at managing relationships.
 
You value the collaboration with your colleagues and bring with you a good team spirit and high professional ethics as well as new ideas to the improvement work at Scania IT. Change is a natural part of your day-to-day work.
 
As a leader, you believe in developing people and giving them opportunities to grow. You know how to achieve balance between sometimes conflicting interests, e.g. long-term competence development, short-term deliveries and co-workers personal situation. You are fluent in English and Swedish, both orally and in writing.
