Do you want to help realise Scania’s digitalisation journey? Here at Scania IT and Service Operations we are now putting together the team that will build the solutions for the digital dealers of the future.

For the IKB group, Workshop Process, the Digital Dealer program is now launching. This is linked to Scania’s global digitalisation strategy and will safeguard future development of one of Scania’s most important services. The program will aid in the creation of efficient workshops by supplying correct and optimised information about our customers in line with our standardised services. Using data from several of Scania’s most important information areas, we will develop services for optimising the IT landscape within the workshop process to meet future needs.

We are initially looking for a team of innovative, committed and experienced Scania employees with expert knowledge of:
  • Java development, two individuals, one of whom who should be senior
  • UX development
  • Solution architecture
 who will now get the opportunity to work on modern system development, with agile principles always present.

The agile team will be self-organising and have a high level of interaction with the operation thanks to colocation of the project’s members. Close cooperation with the markets around the world will also ensure rapid feedback during development and the analysis process.

 
Your duties
You will be part of a development team that is responsible for all elements of application and service development. You will be involved in requirements work, architecture, development, testing and release management. We want you to stand up for the quality of your work and not be afraid to work hard to meet deadlines. You will also have a strong interest in learning more about Scania and will enjoy and be curious about working close to Scania’s business areas.

Your profile
You have:
  • Self-motivation and an ability to lead others
  • The commitment and motivation to work with others to develop, deliver, simplify and improve
  • Experience within your area of expertise (Java, UX, etc…)
  • Significant knowledge of agile development
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Swedish
  • A university education within IT or equivalent experience
