IT Vendor Management Office is responsible for supporting and driving the journey of change for the company within the fields of Software Asset Management and Contract Management. We are a team that is highly skilled and committed, with considerable job satisfaction.

Your duties
You will be responsible for optimising Scania’s use of licences in a structured manner. This involves, among other things, ensuring that we are correctly licensed, by which we mean having the correct number of licences based on the customers’ needs and ensuring that the licences are managed in a cost effective and legal manner.
As a Software Asset Manager, you will have many contacts within the Scania Group, such as purchasing, service managers and our owner Volkswagen, which will enable you to manage the licence area for which you are responsible and to improve processes and procedures together.
Your profile
We are looking for candidates who have: 
  • Experience of agreement and licence management
  • Experience of budgets/forecasts at a large company
  • Experience of SAM tools
  • An understanding of Cloud services
  • Meticulous and analytical thinking
  • Commitment and drive to simplify and improve
  • A sound ability to create good customer and supplier contacts
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Swedish
  • A university education within IT or equivalent experience 
You are happy working in an agile team, but are also capable of working independently when required. You will be organised, self-motivated, bold about making your own decisions and have a strong service-minded approach.
