Look this way all developers! Are you our future developer/software architect?

If you possess the following attributes, YOU may be one of the people we are looking for to join two of our agile teams:
  • You are a doer and can find your own way
  • You feel that manual testers are actually unnecessary, as you know how test-driven development is best achieved
  • You like managing other younger developers, as you have been doing the job for a number of years and know how things are done
  • You have the Agile manifesto on your bedside cabinet and read it every evening before falling asleep
  • You like working intensively, and with systems that are often critical to our business, as well as maintaining a close dialogue with our product owners
  • You never need to ask “what’s a cloud solution?”
  • You never say: “What? Is that really part of my job? I’m a developer.” (You understand the importance of a developer not “just” coding.)
As a member of our teams, you will help to develop Scania’s pre-sales system which is used by sellers around the world to produce documentation for quotes. This documentation is compiled with support from a number of systems in which, among other things, weight and fuel calculations are carried out or drawings required for bodybuilding are created, as well as systems in which distributors enter market-specific rules for our trucks and buses.

We work using the following technology/tools, among others, and we expect you to be familiar with:
  • .Net Framework
  • Asp.net
  • C#
  • WCF
  • HTML 5
  • JavaScript
  • MS SQL
  • XML
  • Angular
It would also be advantageous if you have also worked on micro services, the cloud and test-driven development. It would also be good if you have started to familiarise yourself with .NetCore.

We can offer you:
What can we offer you? Naturally, we have an open climate in which the opinions of each individual are important, as are diversity and respect for the individual. That means, among other things, that we avoid working overtime. For instance, do you have children and feel that the different parts of life’s puzzle should fit together? Then it’s good that we also offer flexible working hours, which means, among other things, that it is OK to work from home when necessary. Other benefits offered by Scania include the fact that we invest significantly in training and networking, and also offer performance bonuses, an occupational pension, a company car and lunch at reduced prices in our lunch restaurants.

If you live in Stockholm, you can also travel using the Scania Job Express, which is a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje.
Scania also encourages job rotation, which provides new experiences, so there are many different types of career routes available. One example, for instance, is the chance to work abroad, if that interests you.
