Scania Financial Services is serving Scania customers, dealers and distributors in over 50 markets through 15 captive business units with financing and insurance solutions. Over 850 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of 140.000 vehicles representing around 75 billion SEK of assets financed and 80.000 insurance policies.

Digitalisation is a focus area for Scania Financial Services and the organisation has started a stimulating and challenging journey of change that will contribute to the development of Scania Financial Services business. One internal success factor of this journey is to harmonize the application portfolio and therefore Scania Financial Services is building up a global portfolio for the finance companies worldwide. To be able to maintain and develop this portfolio we need to strengthen our team with one more person.

Job description
We are searching for a person who is interested in maintenance and enhancements of applications supporting Financial Services business. You will work cross functional, both within the head office as well as with all business units around the globe. As a Business Maintenance Manager you will have lots of interactions with all functions within the Financial Services business as well as the Scania IT organisation and external suppliers.
In your daily work as a Business Maintenance Manager you will:
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance and enhancement of several applications in our portfolio
  • Be Financial Services business representative in various maintenance meetings. We work in an agile way with scrum
  • Be part of Financial Services ongoing projects contributing with application and business process knowledge
  • Being the link between business and IT and translating business needs to IT requirements
  • Be aware of ongoing application support issues and facilitate the issue solving and communication with our markets
  • Develop and maintain relations to our software suppliers
Your profile
We are looking for a customer and service oriented team member with the ambition to grow with us. We believe you have the following experiences and competences:
  • Engagement and ability to lead yourself and others with a doer mentality
  • Commitment and drive to deliver, simplify and improve
  • Ability to create good customer and supplier relationships
  • Experience in bridging the gap between the business need and system ability
  • Preferably experience from maintenance organisation (ITIL)
  • Leasing and financing business knowledge is a merit
  • Experience from Information modelling is an advantage
  • Fluency in English is a must
As a person you have a proactive approach, are structured and like working in a team. To be successful in this role you also need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business. The position may require travelling from time to time. In this position you will be reporting to the Head of Business IT within the Scania Financial Services head office.
