Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

The work environment at Scania’s IT department is international and our employees are representing many different nationalities and countries. To this exciting and dynamic environment we are now looking for new IT-professionals.
The recruiting group is one of three groups working with Scania Maintenance. At Scania Maintenance we work with a system solution that creates and optimizes individual maintenance plans based on real-time data from the truck to tailor the plans according to each customer’s specific needs. The group work with support and implementation of the product and we are now looking for persons with a significant interest in IT implementation and maintenance.


Your role
As service manager your responsible for the integration between our central maintenance systems and the contracts system in our business units. This includes responsibility for:
  • Setting up, maintaining and supporting the integration between Scania Maintenance applications and contract systems.
  • Ensure that all business requirements are captured and set correctly before the solution is developed and implemented.
  • Communication between Scania contract team and Scania Maintenance teams.
  • Supporting the implementation manager in contract system questions in roll-out projects of Scania Maintenance in different business units.
  • Handling support issues connected to the integrations between central Scania Maintenance and contract systems.
  • Analysing future needs in the integration Scania Maintenance and contract systems.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in IT or equivalent experience and around 6-10 years of working experience. We see that it is an advantage if you have knowledge and understanding for Scania’s business. It is also preferably if you have the following experiences/competences:
 
  • Experience of how Scania contract systems works.
  • Fluent in English.
We also think that you as a person has the following qualities:
 
  • A team player who appreciates collaborating with other people and are willing to help your team members to achieve the best results.
  • Good analytics skills, service-minded and appreciate helping other people.
  • Good communicative skills since communication with business units is to be expected more or less on daily basis.
