Your responsibility
We want our teams to be autonomous and agile, always working closely with our customers. In your role as Maintenance Manger you will be responsible for ensuring that all activities under your management are implemented with quality according to the requirements and the Scania needs. Within your role you ensure that system changes are planned and communicated, incidents are handled within the agreed timeframe and that action is taken to prevent future recurrence. In addition to maintenance management, you will also be involved in projects within the area to ensure a seamless transition to maintenance when the projects are closing. You will also work with continuous improvements within the team to help the team become more efficient and deliver with higher quality.

Your profile
We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Self-motivation and an ability to lead others
  • The commitment and motivation to work with others to deliver, simplify and improve
  • Experience of agile working methods
  • A sound ability to create good customer and supplier contacts
  • Experience of leadership roles
  • A technical interest and knowledge of application management and software development
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Swedish
  • Experience of leading and running meetings
  • A university education within IT or equivalent experience 

We expect applicants to be organized, driven and have a strong service-minded approach. To be successful in this role you will also need to have good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within both IT and business. You are a team player, but also capable of working independently. We believe that you have experience from working with IT and are familiar with the application lifecycle and release management.

The location
Scania headquarter is located less than 40 km south of Stockholm city. It is easily accessible by regional train, commuter train, bus or car. Scania's own bus line, Scania Job Express, goes from Stockholm city or Liljeholmen directly to Scania in Södertälje.
