Front End Developer at Scania
The work environment at Scania’s IT department is international and our employees are representing many different nationalities and countries. To this exciting and dynamic environment we are now looking for new IT-professionals to assist Scania Production and Logistic business.
- You will transform requirements into IT solutions, together with colleagues in the team as well as with other development teams.
- Manage components and unit testing.
- Develop User Interface in accordance with GUI design guidelines and other principles.
When you talk about development and modern technologies you get excited! You have an academic education in Computer science or similar. Work life experience of 2-5 years is required as a minimum. On top of that, you are a driving personality with a big interest and knowhow in UX and web design, more specifically:
- Angular 2 to 6
- HTML5 and CSS
- REST APIs
- Version handling in TFS or/and GIT
- Experience with browsers and their limitations (chrome and Internet Explorer)
We expect applicants to be curious and passionate about working in an agile environment. You should have a positive attitude and be able to cooperate with the team, but are also capable of working independently. Your ability to take responsibility and be organised is very important, and you must be proficient in written and spoken in English. As a person you have a proactive approach, excellent problem solving skills and you enjoy taking on new challenges and working with a focus on quality and targets. To be successful in this role you will also need good communication skills and feel comfortable working closely with several parties within the business
Scania headquarter is located less than 40 km south of Stockholm city. It is easily accessible by regional train, commuter train, bus or car. Scania's own bus line, Scania Job Express, goes from Stockholm city directly to Scania in Sodertalje.
