Lead Java Developer for Product Development IT
Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
The team, which currently consists of 8 people, including a group manager, scrum-master, system and software developers, test and system analysts, supports Scania’s testing process at R&D. The team is involved in the entire system development process, from concept development to implementation and maintenance. We are aiming towards self-sufficient teams with focus on quality and continuous delivery.
We are currently looking for an experienced Java Developer with an interest in agile methods.
You will be part of an agile team of developers and testers that is responsible for all elements of application and service development. You will be involved in requirements work, architecture, development, testing, release management and operation.
You value high-quality code produced both independently and in collaboration with your team. You’ll also have a high level of interaction with the operation and close cooperation with the product owners, and end users to ensure quick feedback during the development process.
We believe that you have +5 years’ of experience as an Senior Lead Java Developer. A university degree in the IT-field is meritorious. You value working in a self-sufficient team that continuously strives to improve working methods and desire to deliver high-quality code. You will also have a strong interest in learning more about Scania and will enjoy and be curious about working close to Scania’s business areas.
